Piedmont Gardens is an ABHOW community, a trusted nonprofit provider of retirement housing and senior health care services. As an expression of its mission, ABHOW seeks to enhance the well-being and security of seniors through the provision of housing, health care and supportive services.

ABHOW operates 11 continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) and 22 affordable housing communities. As part of the ABHOW family of communities, Piedmont Gardens offers residents the continuity of a flexible, residential retirement lifestyle while offering the security of senior health care. The ABHOW Foundation provides financial support to residents who require assistance.

Piedmont Gardens is accredited by CARF-CCAC, an independent agency sponsored by LeadingAge, formerly known as the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
